I made it through my interviews today!!! Not too shabby. Oh, there were times I felt stupid… real stupid. They would ask me the most simple questions, like “What do you want to know about us?” and I would just freeze up!!! I knew what I wanted to know… I researched them and all… but something about interviewing today just threw me off! But nobody sent me away in tears. And actually the woman from Legal Assistance for Seniors was very nice. I wanted to hug her at the end of the interview, but I think that might have been a bit inappropriate!
So after a long day of interviewing what do I do? Eat? Sleep? Drink? Play games? Nope. I cook. Cooking is such a form of relaxation for me. It is my place of zen. I put my whole self into it. I block out what is happening around me and focus on the food. I almost get euphoric thinking about it now!

Tonight I made fried fruit, but there has to be a better name for it. So I will call it a Tropical Fruit Wonton. Yes, that is much more pleasant. Basically, this is my take on Jeff of C for Cooking’s take on a Bon Appetit recipe (did you follow that?). So go check it out on my recipes site!
And now, a long night of working on this article edit… yes STILL working on that edit!
